Train the Trainer

 

Are you looking to help establish a culture of care and connection in your community or organization? Our Train the Trainer programs certify participants to equip others in the skills of supportive care.

All certifications go through a step-by-step customized training to optimize the strengths of each facilitator.

 

 

Certified Trainer

The deepest level of understanding and application of the skills of care. Designed for community, organizational, and thought leaders looking to step up, show up, and make an impact.

With our in-depth training, individuals can become a leader of care and connection by bringing programming to organizations, communities, and workplaces.

The eight-week training walks participants through their personal care behaviors, their strengths and weaknesses, and a thorough skills application process. All certifications go through a step-by-step customized training to optimize the strengths of each facilitator.

This level of certification allows you to:

  • Give and review Supportive Culture Pre-Surveys, Awkward Zone Assessments, and Supportive Culture Scorecards

  • Bridge the gap between empathy and action and create a meaningful impact through presentations and keynotes

  • Facilitate our Discovery, Awkward Zone, Team Connections, and Showing Up Workshops, as well as Book Studies and Bespoke Programming

  • Continue to grow cultures of supportive care by recruiting additional Certified Trainers


 
 

Certified Organizational Trainer

Our signature train the trainer program certifies a member of your team to cultivate a culture of care and connection within your organization for the long-term.

This certified trainer can support ongoing learning and development for leadership and existing team members. Comfort programming will set your organization apart by focusing on the emotional well-being and social connectedness of your team.

Each Certified Organizational Trainer will receive:

  1. 18 Hours of Training – 8 individually and 10 in group sessions.

  2. Copy of our book Showing Up, assessments, and surveys

  3. Collaborative group training and program modeling sessions

  4. Access to all programming materials upon completion

  5. Quarterly virtual sessions for ongoing development

  6. Ongoing consultive support from the Inspiring Comfort team when dealing with situations that need care.

Certified Organizational Trainers can lead the following within their organization:

  1. Inspiring Comfort Personal Assessments & anonymous surveys.

  2. Comfort Skill Workshops

  3. Comfort Response activities during crisis events that affect the team


 
 

Certified Peer-Leader Trainer

Perfect for schools and organizations where peers or mentors are looked to for support. We offer a Peer-Leader Certification for groups such as RAs, Orientation Leaders, or any organization where peer mentors can benefit from being trained in caring behaviors.

Programming includes:

  • Training on the skill of comfort through our book and online training platform

  • Participation in and facilitation training for the two core workshops of Inspiring Comfort

  • Ability to lead “Comfort Response” activities during events that affect the campus or organization

  • Access to our quarterly Comfort Calls, to support team members’ trainings


 
 

Certified Project Comfort Facilitator

This certification is for an organization that wants its staff to facilitate our Project Comfort Youth Programming.

This certification allows a member of your organization to:

  • Teach and facilitate all of Project Comfort’s 8 activity-based lessons

  • Distribute core worksheets and materials, and facilitate the Signature Comfort Plaque giving and receiving process
