AUGUST 15, 2022 - On Monday, August 15th, Inspiring Comfort trained 82 peer leaders and 12 faculty/staff at Concordia University-Wisconsin in the critical skills of long-term supportive care and showing up.

TMJ4 News was present to capture the critical training and aired a feature at the top of the hour on Milwaukee 6 o’clock news.

“The goal is to equip our students who are on the front lines with the tools to recognize signs of emotional distress, but then also be confident in their response to it,” said Assistant Professor of Psychology Holly Griskell, PhD., who was largely responsible for bringing Inspiring Comfort to campus.

Jen Marr will return to the CUW campus on Oct. 5 for a presentation expected to have an attendance of 500 students. Admin also plan to train additional faculty and staff to further create a culture of care on campus.
